Why don't we organize boycots of tv stations that run Swiftboat ads?
I noticed that MSNBC was finally pressured to stop running that Democratic 527 ad talking about McCain's history of cancer. Why can't Obama supporters put similar pressure on tv stations not to run last-minute Swiftboat ads about Reverend Wright or whatever? I bet if local Obama supporters promised to picket, boycot, etc tv stations who run those ads that would be pretty effective.

One thing is for sure- I don't think we should be a punching bag this election cycle. If we can't get the ads pulled, I say we make our own 527 ads talking about McCain deserting his first disabled wife to run off with a rich, politically-connected beauty queen.

on the exercise of free speech. It says nothing about ME, as a private citizen, exercising MY free speech to tell a tv station that if they run Swiftboat ads then I won't watch their tv station. Why do you think the Democratic 527 group running the McCain health ads had no legal recourse against MSNBC for not running their ads? They had no First Amendment right to run them.

Try reading the Constitution sometime before you spout off all high and mighty about it.

5. Go for it, freeper tactic, but if you want to emulate them, then OK.
Why are you afraid of words, even disgusting lies? Better to just expose them for what they are, numb-nutz.

3. Take a listen once to Rush Limbaugh, jot down the local sponsors.
Call the local sponsors, often car dealers etc. and tell them that since they apparently hate liberals and Democrats you won't be doing business with them.
