Is this a sexist comment to make?

Politico is saying Palin is going to attack Joe Biden.

Here comes the sexist part on my end.

Palin is going to hide behind her womanhood.

Its like a woman slapping her boyfriend and cussing him but knowing her boyfriend will not hit her (and HE SHOULD NOT!)

Its just that Palin can attack Biden and get away with it if he does he looks like a bully and sexist.

Or are they saying it because she's an awful, despicable human being?

3. I tend to think it would sexism on her part

if she were to deliberately use her gender to gain advantage.

That being said, I fully expect her to use every advantage at her disposal and I think it will be difficult to criticize her for doing so. Still, I think many people will be put off by this if they do detect it.

Whether it is wrong to speculate about this ... well not really, that is freedom of the press imo.

Equal people debating vital issues. Unless Joe says something like, "Wahl, l'il lady, you don't need to worry your purty l'il head over that one" or "Don't be getting your pantyhose in a wad over that," it is a nonissue.

7. Why don't you just wait and SEE what she does, instead of assuming.

If she hides behind "her womanhood" then you have some demonstrable behavior to point to, as proving your as-of-now (yes, very) sexist assumption.

8. If she hides behind her womanhood

it will be more obvious than ever that she's got nothing else. It's 2008! We've got a woman Speaker. We've got women in both houses of Congress and several women governors. We damn near had a woman presidential candidate.

Joe should treat her the same as he would a male opponent, period. If she ends up looking like an idiot, it's because she is one.
