On the dial: McCain 570 vs. Obama 1260 (DC area radio)
Talk radio listeners in D.C.—both left and right—may have noticed a change on the dial.

That’s because Red Zebra Broadcasting, which now owns both conservative News/Talk WTNT-AM and liberal WWRC-AM, is capitalizing on the election frenzy by temporarily renaming the stations: McCain 570 and Obama 1260.

On “Obama 1260,” listeners hear Rachel Maddow, Stephanie Miller, and Ed Schultz. The conservative cast of "McCain 570" includes Bill Bennett, Laura Ingraham and Michael Savage.

Radio personalities aside, there's one other difference, according to a release: "'McCain 570' will feature hourly updates from Fox News and money news from Dow Jones. "Obama 1260' will provide hourly newscasts from CNN and financial updates and analysis from CNBC."
