Here's the issue that will be the knockout punch against Palin and McCain
It's Wasilla, Alaska under Palin's Admin charging rape victims $1,200 for the police to collect evidence to use against the rapist.

This policy in Wasilla is a clear example of Right wing and Republican heartlessness and of them punishing women for getting raped.

Biden needs to do a reverse Dukasis on if his daughter was raped. He needs to be passionate about how a rapist would regret the day he attacked his daughter and then turn on Palin to say, "How could Mayor and now Gov. Palin support a policy that charges rape victims for collecting evidence to use against their attacker?"

This attack would solidify women in Obama/Biden camp.

1. If he gets the right lead-in, he might be able to do something like that. In a debate they usually

it structured somewhat & the debaters have some issues to put in if they get the chance but you can't just throw them in the ring. Have to have that opening, right time, right place.

2. I would rather see that from the moderator
another woman. I think it would risk coming across too tough if Biden slammed her over that... but, I've been wrong before.

4. I agree with you. And if Ifill asks, I hope she has some proof to throw in
The Big Dipper's face when she denies she had anything to do with it, and wasn't even aware it was happening.

5. But instead of being aggressive, ask it in a manner that shows compassion ...

... and confusion, that Joe is seeking to understand how any politician could justify charging rape victims in such a manner.

She is sure to deflect and say she wasn't aware of the rape kit issue, but it will have been put before the public and will be escalated in news coverage. Then followup news reports will make clear that she either had to know, or was woefully negligent in her job. And the articles will also note that the police chief who oversaw this practice was put in office by her, after she fired the previous chief.

edit: p.s. No *one* thing is going to finish them off, but the flood of issues and bad press will have an overall, devastating effect.

6. I actually suspect that this will come up and Joe is very good at
using the baffled tone of voice after showing righteous indignation and anger over an issue that pisses him off. I think that this issue could be the death blow as well.
