O'Reilly Compared House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to HITLER

Then he tried to take it back, after he already did it. He tried to put the toothpaste back in the tube, but it was too late. Think about this, Bill O'Reilly is comparing the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, to Adolf Hitler. Then think about what O'Reilly would say if say "Keith Olbermann" compared George W. Bush to Adolf Hitler.

During a "body language" segment on the September 30, 2008 O'Reilly Factor, O'Reilly and guest Tonya Reiman discussed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's body language during her speech before the September 29 vote on the proposed $700 billion financial bailout bill. During the discussion, Reiman said:

"I think that what happens is she (Pelosi) practices the speech too much and wants to come across as forceful and powerful and uses gestures that she might think are forceful."

After O'Reilly stated, "So she's practicing," Reiman reiterated, "I think she does practice."

O'Reilly replied: "You know who used to do that, who practiced for hours before making a speech? And I'm not making any comparison here. So, don't -- you crazy left-wing websites out there, it's not a comparison. Adolf Hitler. Adolf Hitler practiced for hours, all of his gestures and everything else before he went out there. So if you practice your gestures, and then you get out there and you screw them up, you just -- you should just be natural."

O'REILLY: So, she's practicing.

REIMAN: I think she does practice, yes.

1. He's done this a number of times, trying to compare leftists to Hitler. I think someone

has assigned him this task. Everyone knows that fascists are right wing extremists. But the American right wants to try to get the American people to associate leftists with the fascists. It's a propaganda ploy to re-define these words.

just remember what was said when a Dem had the audacity to state that what the Congress had heard about the goings-on in Gitmo was similar to what we would have heard about Nazi Germany ... that hit the fan and the Repukes demanded, on Congressional Record, that the Dems apologize for comparing our troops to the Nazis ... (Repukes, btw, seem more inclined to go that route than any lib ...)
