Conservative uproar grows over Gwen Ifill, debate moderator and book author
I had been hearing bits about Ifill needing to go because she's pro-Obama today
and tonight I find all this Brokow is pro-McCain info here at DU.
Now I find myself wondering which complaint came first.
Somehow the outrage over Ifill feels like a counter-punch move by the McCain camp.
Perhaps, even, as an excuse to do something to scuttle the debate?

"As if enough delicious edginess already didn't surround Thursday's Sarah Palin/Joe Biden debate, conservative consternation is rising over concerns that moderator Gwen Ifill brings an inherent self-interest favoring the Democratic ticket to the table."

1. Palin is afraid of Ifill, yet they trust her to stand up to Putin?

3. This is pretty much BS manufactured by the Media
both Palin and McCain have said they have no doubts that she is professional and will be fair all the way around.

11. It isnt that, it is just that it is the media harping on this story
and not their campaign

15. I saw a whiny quote about Gwen Ifil that was credited to Michele Malkin, not McCain.
So, it seems to be the wingnut media that got this whole thing started in the first place.

In any case, it doesn't matter to me who is fanning the flames. Burn, baby, burn.

5. They're so transparent. What a bunch of despicable people.
I'd just love to see someone say to whatever GOP cockroaches are whining, "Cut the bull -- it's because she's black, isn't it." Make 'em scramble to deny it.

7. Let them fucking whine.
I just do not give a shit anymore. Ifill should do the debate, be tough but fair to both candidates, and damn the McCain campaign's whining. Goddamnit, I am so fucking SICK of their threats and their whining.

8. They're just trying to set the table so that they can cry favoritism or whatever after
Mooseburger goes down in flames.

12. The repubs need to just accept the facts that Ms Sarah is not up
to the task no matter who moderates the debates. If you stumbled on a softball question about naming a news paper you've read then it don't matter who moderate the debate, not even a Pro-McCain moderator can save you.

14. Isn't Ifill friends with Condi Rice?
If so, I bet she leans right and not left.
