Graham....is a good guy. He's voting because of what he saw. People are paying and he's looking at it. I don't like the bill much, but it needs to be done, until we get Obama in and we can sit down and look it over. Right now we've reached crisis mode.

Edit: I didn't know he was such a bad guy. I liked his statement towards the bill. It was so humanistic. Oh man. Sorry guys. I didn't realize he was a wolf general in sheep's clothing.

McCain is still missing...another repub I dislike.

Edited my title...I liked his speech which induced my respect. However, hearing the truth by some of the posters, I revisited this thread and decided to edit it.

8. A bandaid fix and not the answer.
This bailout bill is only a temporary stopgap.
The flood of bad credit and creative accounting
will make this first bit of a crash look like
a soft breaker wave.

Kucinich actually speaks to the answer. Start
at the bottom, with the poor and the little guys.

Help them first.

12. I know it's a bandaid. I never said otherwise.
I do think that there should be new regulations mandated and stronger ones. Let's take care of the shit problem we're in now. Then we work out a new bill. Obama even mentioned in an earlier speech he plans on revisiting this bill to make it better as he said about many of the others. I trust him on that---but for now we need to take action.

Older people dedicated their lives to a job are losing their pensions. SS only covers so much and to lose their pensions on top of it? Is stupid, imo.

10. graham is a neo-con flunkie.
he made such grand speeches about military law, based on his experience as a jag...

yet, when it was time to take a stand, he voted against the anti-torture bill.

...and he follows mccain around like his third wife (lieberman is his second).
