Rassmussen Poll: Mississippi: McTroll 52%(-2) Obama 44%(+3)
John McCain now leads Barack Obama 52% to 44% in Mississippi, according to a new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the state. In August, McCain was ahead 54% to 41%.

But the race was even closer in May and June, when McCain led by six.

Mississippi has cast its six Electoral College votes for the Republican candidate in the last seven consecutive presidential elections. In 2004, President Bush easily won the state by a 59% to 40% margin.

2. Although we won't win MS, it shows that every state is showing movement toward Obama.

6. Obama
He won't win Mississippi but Obama keeping loss under 10 Points Is great news. Why?This can help win
the senate seat.A huge Black and Young Voter turnout and we could take Lott's old seat.A Dem took
Hastert's seat In Illinois earlier this year.

8. It's been analyzed that if whites vote Obama over 20-22% MS might go Dem
with a very large AA turnout who comprise 37% of population. But I don't think the campaign has targeted MS so no advertising, little organization.
(Correct me if I am wrong on this Mississippi campaign workers)
