Freeperville has turned on McCain
Not happy with his voting on the bailout. I know many of you can't stomach the site but this thread might be worth it.

1. They never liked him. Right?
I remember them saying that no one should vote for him because he was crazy. "You can just see it in his eyes." They all said it all the time, as though they were brainwashed zombies.

40. They wanted Fred Thompson because they believed him to be "Reaganesque."
When the Fred thing fell through, they wanted Romney. They're torn on Huckabee...most of them weren't supporters. I have a fundie friend who likes to repeat the slogan "Hold your nose and vote for McCain." Any enthusiasm for Grampy comes from an "anyone but Obama" mindset.

They never forgave McCain for his involvement in immigration reform. They don't consider him to be a "Reagan Republican." He's more of a "Reagan Republican" than Obama, though, so all of their tough talk is just that...talk.

Some of them will stay home, while others will drag their terrified little freeper asses to the polls on November 5th, whether they like him or not.

:patriot:

Still using "loose" for "lose."

Then there is the freeper who wants to shut McCain up with "duck tape."

Just like McCain now opposes the McCain-Feingold Act?

Just like McCain now opposes his marriage to his first wife, Carol?

It would be an interesting development if McLiar voted against this bill. Doubtful, but it would be interesting to see the responses over there.

I think I'm going to go shower now, it was pretty messy over there. They are in the early stages of total collapse and in turning on one another.

Merely voting for him because they had to (but I think many left the site after he was nominated and will either sit the election out or vote for Barr).

If he loses, they will drop him like a hot potato, and hate him more than ever.

51. Palin still loved....WHAT?!?!?!
That is what struck me most reading the posts. One poster mentioned that it was McCain who managed to lose all the support that he gained from Palin. Are they serious? Have any of them seen her interviews? Seen the mockery the MSM is (for the most part) making of her? Seen Couric's bewildered expressions at her ridiculous answers? Watched SNL?

They do not see that Palin herself is just as responsible for their fall in the polls. Which just gives me so much more hope for the future.

Can you imagine someone there said they were going to write in "Palin/xxxDoexxx". Let's hope they keep this up and nominate her in 2012. She is so profoundly stupid that 4 years of intense study will make no difference!
