Addressed to 'Current Occupant'.

Is this how they're gonna try to steal this? VA IS going blue this year.

1. They've been doing that in the swing states for a while. I've been spreading
the word "If you want an absentee ballot, go to your Secretary of State's web site and request one directly from THERE!" There have been several people who checked these odd balls that come from the RNC and haven't found a problem, but I DON'T TRUST THEM! You can't trust the damn machines, and I'm sure not going to trust the RNC!!!!

3. I was going to request one for my daughter, but there is a full
out push at her school to get the kids registered there as well as get them to the polls.

I read on CNN that Liberty University, (here, Falwell's school) thinks that they are going to be the 'first college to elect a President' because they are pushing registration.

Right, because no one else is. Idiots.

7. she should also be able to register online at that same Sec. of State site.
Once she's registered, she can still request an absentee ballot. If she wants to register at school, I would think, as long as she gives it a few days to get the registration processed, she then can request the absentee ballot on line.

11. Technically nobody registers to vote online in Virginia.
The form can be filled out online and then must be printed out so that it can be signed. Then mailed to the appropriate office or in person.

I do like the ability to fill in the sections online. We can't do that in Indiana. Have to download and print the form. Then fill it out by hand.

8. Yes... they'll be glad to mail you one of their ballots...
People are reporting finding ballots with NO RETURN ADDRESS. You fill it out.. drop it in the mail... and it disappears down a big black hole. I wonder what percentage of Undecided and Dem voters are getting there faulty ballots?

5. Oh, I don't plan to use it.
I vote at the polls.

I think it's interesting because this is the second one of these I've received from them. The first one was a 'Welcome to the Neighborhood' letter with an application in it.

We've lived here for 17 years. They're a bit behind the times, apparently.

9. I got one too the other day
here in Bob Air. I assume you're in Midlothian from your name. They must be blanketing Richmond and the surrounding counties now. Anyway, my daughter registered a long time ago - she turned 18 in February - and when I asked at our local polling station during the primary if she was on their list they told me she was not. I just figured she wasn't in the system yet.
Can she go online to the SOS and register that way?

10. I think so. My daughter turned 18 in July, but she was able to vote
in the primary. She brought the paperwork home from her AP Gov class.

4. Contact your local Democratic office NOW
The return address goes to the wrong magistrate, therefore rendering your vote null and void.

Contact your local Dem or Obama office pronto.

12. Did it provide a self-addressed envelope?
If so, send it back to the local Republican Party with Homer Simpson as the person registering.
