Personally I am worried about Cindy McCain
the poor woman has the entire Palin clan romping around one of HER HOUSES

Imagine having to consider what they have touched!

Lots and lots of Clorox wipes and extra hours for the help before she can feel at ease

She might even have to sell off the place. I wonder if Lynne de Forrester Rothschild will swoop in to help a sista out.

2. There are three guest houses on that property.
I am sure there is maid service, so Cindy won't have to use the Clorox wipes herself.

The second one, not the first one. Her kids are using the first one.

I doubt there is cause for worry.

I think she feels trapped in a situation she cannot escape, and I think her pill addiction was a cry for help.

I swear that Sarah was loaned a set of Cindy's pearls for her big speech at
RNC..........they were just too beautiful, and certainly didn't look costume.

Seriously.

Cindy is lending Sarah jewelry, I would bet.

8. i do feel a little sorry for her. she seems to have a shitty hubby, no connection and i do see some
light in her. some niceness. at least with her, i see her interaction (love) with children and in greeting people, like michelle obama. Palin, i see no connection as a mother

i think mccain is a horrible man to her. she almost appears in an abusive mentality

NOW, having said that

she can easily get out of her situation too so that is as far as i go

26. yeah--although I do have an opinion about the way she treats her half-sister
To go around saying you're an only child, when you patently are NOT, is heartless. And if I'd inherited millions while my half-sister inherited $10,000 I'd do something about it, whether I was legally compelled to or not. There's just a lowest common denominator of decency. (An exception being if the half-sister mistreated my parents, or would only blow it all on drugs, or something like that. But as far as I know there was no reason for her father to basically disinherit his first family other than that they were the starter model.)

But let's assume there's a good reason for her behavior towards her half-sister that we don't know about, and then yes, I feel sorry for her too. She was a hell of a catch for a married man with personality issues, and she probably figured that since he was the one who married up, he'd treat her at least decently instead of calling her a trollop and a c*nt (and that's in front of people--can you imagine what he says behind closed doors? The imagination reels). And then there was her charity, which seemed to have been very important to her until the drug addiction happened. And I love the story about how she fell in love with Bridget and just had to adopt her--it's very sweet and shows that she's sensitive to a soul-to-soul connection, at least with a child. It must be absolutely awful to be her.

On one hand, she certainly has the resources to make the decision to leave, if that's what she wanted to do. But with his temper, he's probably just beaten (figuratively--I'm not suggesting physically) the resistance out of her.

I wouldn't be surprised if she's secretly sorry she ever met John McCain.

29. Private traveling tutors
just like the rest of us

:sarcasm:

I did have an old friend of mine who sold his law practice and took an unbelievable trip around the world with his wife and two girls. They did have school work to do while they were traveling and they had to take a test at the end of the year..but it was pretty easy to handle from what he told me.

25.  I feel contempt for Cindy McCain
a lot of women are trapped in loveless marriages and stay for the children , financial considerations and lack of a support system

She is wealthy, and can afford any kind of help she might need to get rid of the abuser

some women thrive on pity

27. She basically discovered John and made him into what he is
the POW record was perfect for bringing him to Arizona, meeting all the right people, getting elected to Congress, and then chosen to take the Senatorship

This is all planned out

Can you imagine her dreams of having that entire White House with that staff and that budget to play house with??

On the upside our state dinners would be quite spectacular-unlike few that we have now
