Ready to move on past Thursday night - Press building this to be circus.
The only win for Biden will be a complete failure by Palin to open her mouth and I don't think that will happen.
She has been been memorizing canned replies by a fucking river bank.

She will stay on message, regardless of the question, and attack ferociously both Biden and Obama.

Biden will be nice and complement her and agree with her on many points, & we'll be frustrated by his civility in the face of dishonesty.
I don't think it will be pretty.

Extended, long dog walk coming Thursday night.

1. Can someone give me an example of a time when a VP debate moved poll numbers?
Thanks.

Appreciate it.

3. I wouldn't worry too much...
VP debates have through time not factored that much.... if at all.
Palin has already dug a hole as well as McCain has.
She will come out okay if she just doesn't f*** up royaly.
The repugs have lowered the expectations so much that just showing up will mean she has not lost this is why
Obama's camp is saying she is a "great debater" to make it harder for her to succeed.

Remember, debates are rarely won but usually lost. It could even be possible that Biden may help her if
she gets stuck. It would be the gentlemanly thing to do. The important thing is that Biden comes off
as statesman like and even a bit bi-partisan. If you keep this in mind when watching the debate then that
may relieve some of the frustration many will feel when he doesn't go for each clear shot.

4. I can't watch it.
I'll be at work, and I'm glad. If she does OK, it will be too annoying to listen to the pundits praise her, and if she is a train wreck, it will be too embarrasing to sit through.

5. Palin' problem isn't that she doesn't know
the talking points. She's got them down pat. Her problem is she can't remember which talking point goes with which question.
