2. I think we also need an inside/outside balance as well
To many Democrats, those in Congress have not been leaders. They would be more likely to get behind someone from beyond the Beltway. To unite the party, a ticket with an insider/outsider might be as important as a North/South alliance.

16. Edwards is outside...
...having spent less time in politics than anyone. He also definitely campaigns without really relying heavily on his Congressional experience like the other candidates.

I think what you really mean by inside/outside is Yes/No on IWR.

4. I absolutely think there is a strong pull
for Kerry, Edwards and Clark. I sense that they have some working model in place and that all three are part of it.

17. I like Edwards/Kerry too...
Why do all of the supporters think that Edwards would be a good VP candidate? Obviously many people really like Edwards. When I see that almost all of the Dems on here would welcome Edwards as their VP, it makes me feel good that Edwards as the presidential nominee would definitely unify all of the democratic voters. I don't think I've seen anybody yet say they'd not vote for Edwards if he won the nomination, as opposed to many of the other candidates.
