I got a kick out of this story.

At the mall where my workplace is located, there's a music store a few doors down. A guy from that store comes every day and buys a couple of newspapers at my store, so we've gotten to know each other a little, and know we share the same views on a lot of things.

Well, today the local Republican Party went from business to business canvassing, trying to drum up support for McCain and McConnell. When they got to the music store, the other employees directed the guy to talk to my friend. He said he held up his hand after letting the guy get one sentence out and said "Buddy, you can stop right there. There is no way in hell I'm supporting you guys."

"Can I ask you why?"

"Have you been paying attention at all the last eight years? We got a total dumbass for a president because of you guys, we have a 10 billion dollar a month war thanks to you guys, we have Wall Street collapsing thanks to you guys, people like me and these other people here with me are getting screwed every day thanks to you guys, and you think we want to put you guys back in power? No, thank you!" And he showed him the door!
