there seem to be three possibilities:
. attack mode
. show Commander-in-Chief qualities
. just let Sarah be Sarah--as in mom of disabled child, disturbed child and military volunteer child.
People should reject each of them as nothing more than icing on a cake.
Attack mode does not show ability to synthesize answers from diverse sets of information.
Demonstrating C-i-C is actually impossible, since there is nothing about the debate that actually allows for that.
Letting Palin get away with the mom characterization is totally patronizing and shows nothing about the abilities a person needs to lead the nation. Other aspects of her "personality," such as the strident, nasty ageist comments she made about Biden are really unacceptable. Since when do we want or need a public leader whose main talent is making snide remarks in personal attacks?
