Virginia InAdv/PollPosition Obama 51, McCain 45 Obama +6
Sen. McCain lost ground since our last survey in Virginia among males (down from 58% to 51%), independents (Obama now leads 44%-to-40%), and among both the youngest of voters and seniors.

4. There are a ton of military retirees here
especially in Tidewater so if McCain can't count on that block he in a lot of trouble.

That's how Warner and Kaine won here but/and mind you that most people here are considered Independent there is no requirement to register as either D or R

even with Colorado (he HAS to win both) he can't get to 270 without VA
