A Rant I Posted on a Pretty Conservtive Message Board about the Myth of the Liberal Media
I've found out that most message boards on the internet lean to the Right...for whatever reason. I posted this on a sports message board and am waiting for the type of response I get.

-----------------

First of all, McCain has had 2 pathetic weeks...and is two days into having another one. But this is not a product of the media, but a horribly run campaign by John McCain. Where Obama is cool, calm, and collected...McCaint is erratic, desperate, and panicky (as seen in all of his "Hail Mary" pass incompletions). This is picked up on by the MSM and they report it. It also doesn't help when you have a subpar debate and make a completely asinine VP decision that obviously wasn't vetted. That's HORRIBLE leadership!

Barack Obama hasn't had glowing media coverage since February...after he won 11 in a row. Since then it has been all about which group of people he's struggling with (Whites, white women, Older voters, Jews, "working-class" voters, soccer moms, hobos, the dumbass vote, anybody they can attack him with). It has partly been about Wright. How much Obama is a scary Black man. How his wife talks too much and needs to get back in a kitchen and stay at home like some stepford wife.

When has McCain been attacked NEARLY as much as Obama? And to the level he has? Barack is called presumptious because he goes overseas...when McCain attacked him for NOT doing it! If McCain can't accept how popular Obama is, he needs to shut his trap and stop issuing challenges (maybe that's why he acts so bitter towards him...and can't look him in the eyes). But we all know Obama is being held to a higher standard...and why that is. So...

Then, Obama is attacked because he's popular. This was a MSM meme for HOW LONG? Yea, but the media is TOTALLY in Obama's pocket...give me a break people. Just because they're not trying to hang him and drag his name through the mud like many here want to see doesn't mean they're liberal. Turn off Hannity, O'Reilly, and Limbaugh for a second and come back down to Earth. Please. For the sake of this country...WAKE THE HELL UP!!

1. Who owns the media?
Not the liberals.

Who decides what goes on the air and how stories are covered?

Not the reporters.

Anyone who still believes our media is liberal cannot answer these two simple questions.

3. I've always maintained that if the media was liberal we wouldn't have
been saddled with GWB for 8 years.
