Erin Burnette of CNBC just summed up Palin's enigma in a nutshell... surprisingly accurate...
Edited on Tue Sep-30-08 09:57 AM by Blackhatjack
In discussing Palin's pitiful interview with Couric the Palin panel discussion apologist stated it 'was just one bad interview' and insinuating it means nothing.

Burnette went on to state, if it was just one bad interview then further scrutiny will bear that out, but if she is unprepared (to be VP) then further scrutiny will reveal that as well ... and we deserve to know which it is by having Palin answer questions.

Thanks for the correct information which has now been updated to show the comments were made by Erin Burnette.

1. One bad interview...or TWO?
In what respect, Barti?

2. Agreed, but it WASN'T just ONE bad interview! There were at least
TWO actual interviews (Charlie Gibson) and damn near every time she opens her mouth and isn't in front of a teleprompter!

4. Three bad interviews: Gibson, Couric, and I hear Hannity wasn't that great either.

8. Hannity led her around by the hand.
Not like we didn't expect that of course, but the interview was made up of questions like "Doesn't Obama's call for a trillion dollars in new spending undercut his 'change' mantra?"

Nonsense.

5. That was not Bartiromo.
I don't know the woman's name but it's the current CNBC daytime female anchor. Definitely not Maria Bartiromo.

6. This is the woman who could not stop gushing
about how cute and feisty Palin was when she spoke with her shortly after she became the VP pick. Does anyone remember this?

10. Erin Burnett was forced by MSNBC to apologize for referring to Bush as a "monkey" on Morning Joe.
She's 1000 times better than Maria Bartiromo in my book.

12. As KO said...
The only thing she has proven she can do is read aloud - from a teleprompter.

13. I would be more inclined to believe that if it was "one" bad interview out of fifty
But she's only given three, and two were terrible. The one which was O.K. was on Hannity where he didn't even lob softballs. He rolled them slowly across the floor.
