Well, now it's payback time. McCain's disruptive role in this Bailout mess gives them the excuse they needed--that's why the shit's hitting the fan for Johnny Boy, and it's only gonna get worse over the next couple days.

It's pretty much sunk in to the rank and file GOP congress critter that they've lost the presidency, and frankly are more concerned about keeping their own seats intact in the coming rout. Bush has no coattails, McCain has no coattails, Wall Street's melting down a month from the election, and on top of everything else they have Palin the Wonder Kumquat as their personal mascot. I expect McCain's support is evaporating faster than the valuation on a subprime mortgage.
