Then he declares that the fundamentals of the economy are sound just before the whole financial industry collapses.

Then he pretends to suspend his campaign and flies off to DC, where he makes an ass of himself in a meeting with his opponent and the Dunce in Chief.

Then he finally does show up, and delivers a performance that is panned by almost everybody in the country.


Then he crashes a dealmaking party and sabotages the bailout agreement.

Then he trumpets his responsibility for the bailout bill that finally turns up on Monday, and his own party double-crosses him, leaving him holding a very large and conspicuous bag.

What's he gonna do THIS week to top all that?
