1. It's just one of those weird things
like how Iowa is still considered a "Battle Ground" State when Obama has a double digit lead. I wouldn't read too much into it.

2. McCain lost so many he is doing that to make it look a tad closer.
Otherwise it is a complete blowout.

3. David Gregory tried regurgitating that

to back up the idea that Obama is struggling in the rust states, particularly PA, and John Harwood set him straight. He shook his head and dismissed it, said, "It's trending Obama".

4. He's turned out to be such a sell-out. Not much better than David Gregory.

5. As someone who lives in PA....
I would have agreed that it was a tossup a month or so ago, but the tide is turning. People that I would have never expected are coming to their senses. The truth of it is that what held them back in the first place wasn't Obama's politics, but the color of his skin. Racism dies hard in the Keystone state.

6. You gotta float em a little leeway
They have a job to do. What's he gonna say; the truth?

"Well this thing sewed up and McCain ain't got a snowballs chance in hell; so we here at MSNBC will be taking a nice vacation until election night."
