One bright spot... the first market stop level suspends trading for one hour.

Since it is after 3PM the first stop level would halt trading for the day if people make a run for the exits in the last half hour.

So the NYSE average can only drop 10% today.

What a silver lining!!! <sarcasm, of course>

1. The lowest we got was down 6% and it needs to drop 10% for trading to be suspended

2. It's the NYSE index they use. Don't know where that is. NASDAQ is down 7%
