Seriously, what the hell is McCain going to do with this bailout?

He basically said he was suspending his campaign to help broker a deal and said at the debate that he would vote for it.

His base is furious at this legislation (moreso than the Democratic base, in my opinion, because of the whole socialist aspect).

I'm sure he will vote against it if he sees political gain from it, but how, exactly, can he do that without looking like the ultimate hypocrite/liar?


In my opinion, he is fucked either way.

1. The Roaming McGnome will visit another dozen countries

and brag about it at the next debate. The American people will swoon when they hear the name "Waziristan" again. However, true to form, Roaming McGnome won't mention how he feels about the bailout or commit himselt to describing specific solutions for the economy.
