I'm not talking about policy here. I'm talking about political blunders. McCain, who is an exposed gambler, made a BIG wager on Palin. And it won't pay off. Starting November 5th, the hyenas will start to circle and the blame will pour on thick and the republican establishment will throw John McCain out with the garbage for making such a stupid, irresponsible, and rash wager.

It will go down in history as THE WORST political decision ever.

Sarah's political career will be flushed.

Down the drain.

Have fun with that.

2. not sure what other options he had.....
maybe the kid from Minnesota. Nothing else out there would have worked though. Romney was a total non-starter, and Lieberman would have been terrible.

3. And I hope the campaign McFraud has run goes down in history as the worst ever,
with him being the worst major party nomination in history. I want to see this miserable, nasty, dried up, lying piece of shit humiliated to the point where he's afraid to show his pasty-assed pathetic face in public.

6. Maybe Not...
He still has 38 days to formulate an even greater disaster, farfetched as that sounds. Give him some credit, he's a world class fuck-up!

7. And you watch it. There will be those who try to marginalize Obama's win ...
Edited on Sun Sep-28-08 10:10 PM by elkston
by saying he was up against weak opponents. When the truth is that Obama's strength and swagger intimidated McCain's campaign and caused them to make these strategic blunders.

Obama wins by the power of his character and his ability to stick to a message regardless of whatever attacks fly his way.

Obama wins because he is the last man standing after months and months of battle (...and the real battle was versus Clinton)

9. I sure hope so....
.... a few weeks ago, I was afraid she'd come out of this as the CLEAR front runner for the Republican ticket in 2012. It is my hope that she leaves it as such a political embarassment that she will return to a quiet life in Alaska, never to be heard from again.

And then we'll have to worry about how Barack's gonna defeat Liberman in the next election. :-)
