Of course I'll get no reply, but it made me feel good writing it all down.
http://miller.senate.gov/email.htmMr. Miller,
as a proud American, and a proud Democrat, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.
If our party was ever in doubt, if our party wasn't united, you fixed all that with your speech last night. You have opened the eyes for those who were undecided, you have added fuel to the fire of those of us who have been fighting, we are charged and ready to vote. And we will vote on November 2nd to removed Geroge W. Bush from office, and place a great American hero, a true leader with vision for the future, John F. Kerry, into the office of the President of the United States of America.
You showed all of us, as the well as those that are still undecided, what John Kerry stands against. The hate, the constant fear, the intimidation, the divisivness, this is all that Senator Kerry stands against. You tried very hard to do the opposite of what your candidate keeps promising, your speech didn't unite the country...it divided it, in a big way.
I hope you have some personal satisfaction in supporting Bush. I guees I can understand your concern for you family, although I fail to see how Bush has made America safer? I live in NYC, I saw the towers fall...and I don't feel safer. We're still under orange alert, bin Laden is still at large, and our boys and girls are dying every day in Iraq...explain to me, how are we safer?
It's ashame that you call yourself a Democrat, because you stand against everything that Democrats believe in. But I take satisfaction in knowing that you're not running for re-election, and you will fade away from the political arena. It's sad that all you will be remembered for is your sad and hateful speech at the RNC.
Sincerely,
Alex
