1. I don't do it "ad nauseum".

But I have found that many of the people I talk with during canvassing/phoning are relying on campaign ads instead of facts to help them make a decision. When I can show them the flawed reasoning and/or out and out lies of these ads by giving detailed resources to support the truth, they are for the most part grateful and often say "Well, that makes me think a little differently." Gun Control, Taxes and Abortion are particularly good topics to try to sway people about because the McCain ads are false.

2. That's a really good way to help them become...
...better informed before voting...which is GOOD.

I'm just not sure having a panel of three-four 'undecideds' from various party affiliations questioned on cable TV and the replay of those interviews is helpful to our cause. Especially if there is a chance that many of them are the so-called 'low information voters.'

I'd rather the time be filled with (or at least offset by) interviews with voters who HAVE decided their choice, whether it's McCain or Obama. Let them explain their thinking. It might promote more intelligent discourse.

7. When I got phone surveyed I said I was independent
for the hell of it, when they asked party affiliation, I thought if a lot of Dems did that when they got surveyed it would sway the real idiot independents who have no clue, 'oh, survey says independents going to Obama, I guess I will too'. That was my strategery in saying it.

9. I turn it off when they go there.
It's pointless and stupid. A gaggle of losers wanting 5 minutes of fame.
