Conspiracy alert... The look 'em in the eye issue
McCain was showing signs of illness and extreme exhaustion in the days leading up to the debate; yet last night he seemed full of vigor.

McCain refused to look Obama in the eye and some people are talking about his strange pronunciation of his Ss. (I am not sure what the S thing is about)

So what drug did his handlers have him hopped up on?

1. I thought he looked out of it
distant and removed. It might have been a drug to keep him from losing his cool

3. The refusal to look at other people. Paranoia side effect?
Or is the S hissing or slurring that I believe I heard from David Shuster; an indication of stroke or a bad botox job.

6. The hissing was driving me crazy! But I don't think it was just
when he pronounced 's', it seemed to happen every time he took an intake of breath and it sounded moist. It was really making me queasy. I'm wondering if he has dentures that maybe weren't right?

7. I was at work streaming from CSPAN
so I missed the hissing somehow.

5. Possibly. He also might have been avoiding looking up to underplay the height difference

The tallest candidate usually wins. Obama is a lot taller than McCain.

9. Did you notice all the cameras were height adjusted to be level on McCain's face.
So, when the cameras were focused on Obama, his eyebrows created shadows and his chin covered his neck, which made him look very hawkish. Are camera angles part of the rules, too?

10. I'm sure there is a lot of jockeying for camera angles and lighting
It's all part of the package.

8. I was watching that very carefully this week....
it's weird how we're all observing different things in his physical presentation.

It was very, very obvious to me, especially this last week, that his left eye had a droop (like a Bell's palsy effect).

In fact, whenever he seems completely "off" (not that he's ever really "on"...lol), I see this. His facial muscles are messed up and he has no expression, and his affect is completely flat.

Yet last night, I did not see the left facial features at all, and he was more "on" than he usually is.

I'm sure there are myriad diagnoses which could be applied to these features. I hope the doctors suing for the release of his medical records get their way before election day.

Anyone thinking of voting for him should be terrified given Palin being on the ticket and given his obvious medical issues. I hope some of them read here, because these are valid concerns that have nothing to do with politics.

13. He whistled his Ss. Something he does a lot.
He needs to get his dentures re-fitted probably.

And he refused to look at or make eye contact with Obama out of fear and submission. His body language betrayed his words a LOT.

14. Its not a drug
Sadly John McCain is still a prisoner of the North Vietnamese. He is broken and there's no fixing him.

Paranoia, Rage, and unbridled Overcompesation - He is one sick fuck.
