I watched PBS. they used one camera shots and didn't have both candidates in a split screen format.

Did you see split screen? Who do you think that affected you?

4. MSNBC. Frequent split screen.
Not good for McCain - he was grimmacing and snarling while O was talking. Obama would nod knowingly and take notes while M spoke.

5. I watched the Iraqq segment on MSNBC's split screen and believe it will be
a common scene included in most any network's debate highlights. While Obama repeatedly dressed McCain down, saying "you were wrong on ...." MANY times, McCain's animated face alternately grimaced, boiled with rage, frowned, and smiled nervously.

In MSNBC's replay on Keith just now, a different and almost as effective camera angle was used for that segment, looking at the swollen left side of McCain's face past a shot of the back left side of Obama's head.
