CNN -- Obama won big
I watched on CNN because for some reason there is no MSNBC HD channel on my cable line up. The video on the PBS feed was about 1/4 second in advance of the audio feed, so that was just too distracting.

Anyway, CNN had all this irritating crap on the margins -- real time reactions to the debate. They had six pundits keeping score. 5 out of six scored in favor of Obama, by big margins. Not even close.

Overall, I thought it was a pretty un-exciting debate. There were a few moments in which Obama really showed great depth of understanding -- and articulated it well -- and there he really shone.

Post debate, listening to MSNBC commentators, I have to wonder what debate they watched.

1. Any word on how the focus group of undecided voters on CNN went?

5. Yes, I noticed that
At first, I found that stuff annoying, but it was interesting to watch.

It was really jarring after watching CNN and finding seeing Obama getting the edge most of the time to hear the MSNBC talking heads telling me that McCain did well.

McCain was lame 80 percent of the time. It was a low level debate to be sure, but there was no real doubt that Obama had the upper hand.

3. I could not watch MSNBC (until now; Countdown is on).
Other than Eugene Robinson, the rest of the post-debate panel all have their heads up McSame's ass.

6. trying to appear "fair and balanced" while totally skewing reactions to make it seem
as if Obama was blown out of the water. Not like that at all!
