1. If you watch CSPAN, can you spell out "ARE YOU" ?
Otherwise, just watch CNN. :)

4. No....CSPAN's not in HD. At least with my service.
I want to see every sweat covered wrinkle in John McCain's face.

11. May I ask a dumb tech question? Why does HD matter?
I'm genuinely curious -- I don't have an HD TV and thus don't know what I'm missing. I'd understand it being useful in a sports match or film with terrific cinematography, but in a debate? What goodies am I not gonna see by going with old fashioned video?

12. I have HD, but don't think it necessary to see every pore for a debate.

And you're really not missing much of anything.

I like to watch in HD whenever I can because I like to think that I can see little nuances in facial expressions that might reveal a little more about character and whatnot.

That, of course, is just silly, and it's mostly because since I am able to watch HD, I do, because it's a more visceral experience. or something like that. : )

on edit: now that I'm watching it, I'll add that I like watching in HD because it's full widescreen (not a very big screen but still a lot nicer that what I normally see on this TV) and a really great picture.
