Not prepared. Not rested. Frustrated. Dogged by bad press for days. He's primed for a bad night. I even have some hope that he may lose it on stage. This is going to be a very interesting night.

I think we need to make a prediction for a major meltdown sometime during
the debate.

Obama exercising, cool, calm, collected.

McPOW scrambling, in confusion.

It will show tonight. I am sure of it.

6. Don't Be Afraid
I have a feeling that Obama's comment today to McCain to "not be afraid" was his attempt to do just that - get McCain riled up to display that famous temper for all the world to see.

And someone brought up the point that Obama has done more debates.
Because of the primary fight with Hillary. McCain wrapped up the nomination earlier than Obama.

No, this is NOT good for McCain at all.

got plenty of debating experience and went head to head with MUCH smarter people than McCain.

21. I already took back everything bad I said about Hillary...
... and I'll do it again.

It was right of her to play it to the bitter end. It used up all of the political ammunition the Republicans could have used.

So, I'm sorry for anything unnecessarily bad I said about her before.

He may be better prepared than we think.

Plus, I'm not so quick to ramp down expectations.

And he might be wired like Bush was in the first 2004 debate! Imagine him growling, "What's the frequency, Kenneth?"

I hope you are right though!

Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 12:17 PM by FloridaGrl
I think this is what the want us to believe. One of his surrogates said this morning that Obama needed to be locked away and prepped but McCain doesn't need that. I believe he is preparing himself all along; I believe he knew he was going to attend all along, and then when he (McCain) does fairly well in the debates he gets all the praise because he wasn't as prepared as Obama.

40. With all the talk about Palin's debate prep being a disaster...
I suspect that the real untold story is that McDumbya's debate prep has been almost as bad. Just look at how many downright stupid things he's said in recent weeks. At the debate he won't have Joe Lieberman to whisper in his ear when he says something stupid.

He thinks he will school Obama, and that could really blow up in his face.

The consensus is McCain drove the parties further apart, and he can't point to anything he's accomplished.
