We've yet to hear any detailed, non-"HOLY SHIT WE'RE ALL FUCKED!" explanation of the economic crisis. Obama could show real leadership if he sat down with the nation, and just laid it all out on the line. This is why we're here. This is what will happen if nothing's done. Here's how we're going to fix it. Maybe even do it Ross Perot style, breaking out some charts and graphs. I think it would not only be very beneficial to his campaign to look that Presidential, but it would be enormously beneficial to the public, many of whom have no real idea what's going on.

3. Are you fucking serious? OMGsh! Is he that fucking important?
THAT would be media bias and there is no way of getting around it. Frankly, I will be appalled if they waste president Obama's time by having him go to the debates and having McCain not show... and THEN snubbing him.

I guarantee you that if McCain showed and Obama didn't they would air anything McCain wanted to say!

6. In 1980 President Carter skipped a presidential debate on 9/25 that included John Anderson
and so Anderson and Reagan debated and it was televised, and yet in 2008 if John McCain doesn't show up the networks will not air it, maybe Obama should accept Barr's willingness to step in.
