The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The following statement was just issued by the Republican presidential campaign of John McCain.

Tomorrow, John McCain will return to Capitol Hill where he will work with all sides to build a bipartisan solution that protects taxpayers and keeps Americans in their homes.

6. I really can't believe this.
I'm shocked that he'd actually blow this off. Image-wise, The thought of Obama up there next to an empty lecturn is really devastating for McCain.

16. KEEP reminding people that they STILL
had presidential debates during the Civil War years, the Great Depression, WWI and WWII. FDR participated in debates while WWII was going on AND while he was president.

If the dipshit can't take out 90 minutes to debate (and I agree with Obama, the debates are even more important than ever now) then he doesn't deserve the job anyway. (I don't think he does, regardless, but...)

17. If he no-shows, it will be like the West Wing when Pres. Bartlet went up to Capitol Hill
and the Republicans left him sitting in the hall. Eventually, he just got up and left. Obama could just stand there like, "This guy doesn't care enough to show up". But, then again, that's why I think McCain will show up.
