Nobody's buying: Repubs pushing the meme McCain made the deal happen.
Edited on Thu Sep-25-08 01:14 PM by Lex
No one. Not even the lapdog mainstream media. Not even Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC just now.

So pathetic.

Evidently this is a planned thing by the Repubs. McCain was supposed to sweep into DC, then the Repubs would announce a deal was made. Then McCain would take the credit for it.

5. Oh yes. A Republican spokesman on with Andrea Mitchell saying McCain's
help made the deal happen. Period.

The Democratic spokesman and Andrea Mitchell nearly laughed out loud.

No one's buying, though.

28. That's what I figured
and posted. I hope many others posted it too, here and all over the internet. We needed to get this B.S. out in the open before they tried to claim McCain is the hero.

Man, they are scum.

15. I hope they ask the ones who actually worked on this if McCain made it happen.
I hope they ask the Rs and the Ds (esp. Barney Frank) what McCain contributed.
