Washington Redskins - GE Predictors
If the Redskins win their last home game before the general election the incumbent party wins, if they lose the challenging party wins the election. Except for one year this has been accurate for sixty years. This year the Redskins play the Steelers at home in the deciding game, e.g., Obama is a sure winner.

A bit of trivia but this will live on when Obama ensures the accuracy.

Obama, and the Steelers, will be sure winners.

This is what McCain was doing today, per usual, slinging the smelly stuff...bull and moose combo.

1. Hard to know who to pick
I'm a die-hard Steelers fan, but in this case, I'll have to root for the Redskins.

3. And In 2004 They Said If The Patriots Won, Kerry Would Win... Didn't Happen!
Patriots won, but Kerry didn't!

10. Steelers, for sure, will be favored and will win.
An expert NFL handicapper here. Well, maybe pseudo-expert handicapper.

Obama will win in any case but I'd like to see the trend continue.

ESPN is now telling me since 1936.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1913509

Had to get this bit of trivia in.

Because...

The debate will be on Friday as scheduled, McCain will not be dropping out of the race, Palin will continue as his VP choice, McCain will continue dropping in the polls, etc. Anything contrary is wasted space.

In the end...Obama wins...landslide.

16. Hear Hear!!!
Forget the bullshit, the "streak" was broken last cycle, Redskins will beat the Steelers in a walk, just like Obama will beat McCain.

15. Several of the Steelers are Obama Supporters
Including Franco Harris and Jerome Bettis, who have campaigned with Obama in Western PA. Dan Rooney is also a big Obama supporter.
