Dean launches new site – BushTax.com
The Bush Tax -- How Much is it Costing You?

Yesterday, when he announced his proposal for a new social contract, Governor Dean spoke about the Bush Tax.

George W. Bush talks a lot about "tax cuts," but he doesn't mention how much his fiscal irresponsibility costs. Call it the Bush Tax—what we are all forced to pay because the president gave away your money in tax breaks mostly for people making over $300,000 per year. The Bush Tax shifts tax costs to states and communities, which then raise your taxes to make up the difference.

Because of the Bush Tax, the typical American family will owe $52,000 more on the national debt. Because the President refuses to fund his own education plan, property taxes have skyrocketed more than 27% in Dallas, 25% in Houston and 18% in New York City.

We've started a new website, BushTax.com, where you can find out how much the Bush Tax is costing you.

The Bush Tax costs the vast majority of families far more than they received in their so-called tax refunds. George W. Bush did not give you a refund. He spent all the money you sent to Washington, and then took out a loan in your name to cut you a check.

The only way to get rid of the Bush Tax is to get rid of George W. Bush. Join the campaign now, contribute what you can afford, and spread the word that change is coming—Howard Dean will repeal the Bush Tax.

3. I love this !!!!!
Talk about a great way to put it in perspective that people will actually understand.

Fantastic way of phrasing, "repeal the Bush Tax." Well done Howard.

5. I'm a Clarkie, and not a Dean supporter
But I give the Howard Dean camp the thumbs up for doing this.

Great site! It really spells it out.

Send the link to all of your Republican friends/enemies.

6. Dean frames issues beautifully
Bush can cry that Dean will "raise taxes" but won't be able to offer any kind of detail or coherent argument to support his claims. Dean will be able to point to specific ways Bush's Tax policies hurt people...in a way they can understand.

I honestly don't know how anyone can't see that Dean will whoop Bush's ass in the general election.

13. Why? we are months from the general election
Dean came out of the gate saying , let's rescind the entire Bush tax program. Now he should point in the right direction but forget specific proposals and recommendations until required.
