With McCain's One Week Old Populism & Love For Regulations, Is He Planning On Switching Parties?

Remember all the redmeat rhetoric given by the Republicans at the Republican convention against Big Government and against liberals? Now, compare that John McCain, the one week old populist, who is railing for regulation and saying that he would consult with various Democrats on how to fix the (GOP-created) crisis. McCain supports tougher regulation and more oversight on the bailout, as well as relief for homeowners? Does this sound like Obama's proposals since the primaries?

Of course, McCain has yet to fire any of his campaign advisors/financial industry lobbyists, but to maintain the charade, McCain might as well announce that he is now running as a Democrat given the relative free ride the press is giving him on his numerous flip flops.
