6. Like I said...no one is perfect...
you'll always be disappointed if you expect people to live up to YOUR expectations.

I'm not trying to be mean, but the infighting here over the Clintons is pointless.

It's your choice to like Bill. Ignore those who don't.

4. The ideological purists irritate me anyway.
Clinton won the White House twice, something we sorely need again.

7. But they aren't upset about Obama...
Coming out in favor of the embargo on Cuba, supporting the Supreme Court ruling on the DC gun law when he campaigned in DC against it, and then there's FISA....

5. "I consider loyalty to be an admirable character trait."
Yet you admire Bill Clinton.

Tell me--why did he have more praise for McCain than Obama on The View?

12. He's not playing to this side of the orchestra, he's going after the 'undecided' in the middle.
Trying not to sound like a Democratic toadie, but rather, someone more thoughtful.

Like he always has been.

Oh, I watched him and I didn't see that at all. I thought he was gracious...as usual.

11. He destroyed the Democratic Party from 94 - '04
Took a forty year majority in the House and stuck it in the shitter until everything about the Clintons was removed fromt eh DNC philosophy, after which we won back Congress.

18. It was Dems like Sam Nunn that opposed his nominees, didn't vote for the Budget and stepped...
on Clinton's crank over gays in the military.

Then Dem Jim Cooper stopped healthcare reform for the nearly 20 years. Nunn and Cooper are now consulting with Obama.

It made the Dems look disorganized and unable to govern.

14. No Bill Clinton wasn't perfect
He sold us the "free trade" bill of goods.
He let Kyoto fail so corporations could exploit China and India.
He lied about the surpus so Bush could give a tax cut to the rich instead of protecting social security.
He opened the door to outsourcing jobs to China and India by not demanding any worker protections in those countries.
He signed way too many deregulation bills - including Enron.
He pushed the Iraq WMD lies which helped get us into this horrible war.
He gave Bush a pass on the yellowcake.
He keeps saying he likes these rat bastards, as they're destroying the planet, economically and environmentally.

He deserves every ounce of shit that's been thrown in his direction.

and he has fucked me over time after time.......the best I can say about Bill is that he didnt fuck me over. Having said that, he never did ONE thing that benefited me as a Lower Middle Class citizen of the U.S. I have never forgiven him for Waco either.

27. Waco was Poppy's fault
That investigation was started under Bush Sr. That was the ATF gone mad, under Bush Sr. Clinton had been in office just days when that went down, they had no idea the extent the ATF would go in their witch hunt. That and Ruby Ridge was all Poppy Bush. It is patently unfair to blame that on the Clinton Administration.
