Funny, I thought Rock Stars and Celebrities were not a good thing? I think Biden has met them all before - will hunt for photos

Palin to meet world leaders, Bono

Posted: Sunday, September 21, 2008 8:40 PM by Domenico Montanaro

From NBC/NJ’s Matthew Berger

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Palin will meet with the presidents of Iraq, Pakistan, Georgia and the Ukraine, as well as singer and activist Bono during her three-day trip to New York, the McCain campaign announced Sunday.

Palin will meet Wednesday with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvilli and Ukraine President Viktor Yushchenko together, according to campaign officials. She will then meet with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari before hosting Bono, the lead singer of U2. Later in the day, she will meet with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The campaign had previously announced meetings set for Tuesday in New York, including Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Columbian President Alvaro Uribe.

7. Everyone gets to meet Bono....even my pastor!
Bono will meet with anyone requesting an audience for his project fighting AIDS. I'm sure he'll have a fascinating conversation with Pig Palin about how Abstinence Only doesn't work against AIDS or unwanted Pregnancies. But Bono is kind of like the hoe of political meetings, so I'm not impressed!

9. On a related note, if she had visited EPCOT Center when she was in Florida,
she could have gotten plenty of international travel experience at World Showcase.

13. Photo ops for Caribou Barbie
They've looked at all the important people Biden has met with and decided to schedule a "Rainbow Tour" for Caribou Barbie, so she could get her photo ops in and look "Vice Presidential" like Biden.

"Me too! Me too! I've met with them too!"

Beyond pathetic :eyes:

19. Karzai is probably trying to figure out if there is anywhere on earth far enough away
If she should ever somehow become President.

I'm guessing no, actually. Time to step up that return to the Moon, people.
