Most importantly, you should thoroughly know the needs of the industry you're consulting on. There's nobody like a banking executive or banking lobbyist to advise you on why banks need to be deregulated. McCain understands this; that's why he surrounds himself with lobbyists.

So, given that, I would assume that he will be consulting street criminals on the needs of law enforcement, arsonists on how to help fire departments, and drunks on effective DUI legislation.
