They stoop to the lowest of the low and that's exactly where McCain is going right now. Me thinks his internals are even worse than the polls we are seeing.

2. I've been wondering about that myself. Maybe lots of soft repubs abandoning him?
Only internal polling would show that. He really looks sad and desperate. His heart's still in it but he knows he's done in politics. As a McCain constituent for 30 years I can't say I'm sorry to watch it; I'm rather enjoying it.

4. I think the Palin pick forced a split between the
greedy/corporatist/warmongering wing and the fundie wing of the GOP. I'm sure there is internal fighting going on that makes the Democratic primaries look like nothing.

5. It's all they got now.
Caribou Barbie turned out to be a Titanic deck chair, and her bringing in the insane votes was the whole strategy to save the now derelict campaign. I'm surprised McCan't hasn't just called Obama a 'doodyhead' by now. He has to stay negative now, it's all they got.

6. I saw a "campaign strategist" on Fox yesterday claim that the Obama camp is done
Edited on Fri Sep-19-08 04:05 PM by Cronus Protagonist
She claimed that they can't win on ideas, they are bankrupt and desperate. It was a classic case of Jungian projection.

8. Wow, really? Hilarious! Meanwhile Obama is cool and collected and McCain...
...is flopping around like a drowning rat.

10. The cognitve dissonance was kept at bay by a rabid, angry denial system
It came out as a Jungian projection, as all repressions must show themselves somehow.
