WARNING!!!-
How Team McCAIN Intends (With Palin's Help)
To STEAL THIS ELECTION!!!!!

Whatever else we're doing, we must also speak out loud and clear about that possibility. Otherwise, if that disaster should befall us, we will be as much to blame for it as those Republicans who pulled it off, and all those Democrats who let them get away with it.

Headlined on 9/18/08:
Why they chose Sarah Palin and what to do about it

by Mark Crispin Miller

www.opednews.com

Strategists say that Mr. McCain can now count on a more motivated social conservative base to help him in areas like southern Ohio, where the 2004 race was settled.

--The New York Times, Sept. 7, 2008, A1

In investigating the 2004 election in Ohio--examining pollbooks, talking to pollworkers and election officials, as well as reading local newspaper accounts --we could find no data of a late surge to the polls by born-again Christians. What we did find is certified voting totals in areas favoring Bush that didn't match the number of voters who officially signed-in on the poll sign-in sheets.

--Email from Bob Fitrakis, Sept. 7, 1008

............ if McCain and Palin "win," that victory will either be a miracle (which is, of course, how some of their supporters will explain it) or just another massive rip-off, perpetrated right before our eyes. And no such miracle is likely; for there is still no reason to believe that that old man and his demented running mate have any broad appeal. The polls now putting them ahead are highly dubious, based on a ten-point over-sampling of Republicans, and crafted without any calls to cell phone users (who comprise a large part of Obama's base).

..............................

Otherwise there is no evidence of any large-scale movement toward McCain and Palin--who have to trek to theocratic enclaves, like Colorado Springs, in order to draw cheering multitudes, while Obama/Biden draw them everywhere they go. With Democrats all in a panic, let's recall how few Americans turned out to vote in the Republican primaries, and how few new voters the Republicans have registered to date. Compare that feeble record with the vastly larger numbers who came out for Obama (and for Clinton), and all those whom the Democrats have registered to vote. Since then, the prospects for McCain have not improved, regardless of the spin on Sarah Palin--for this economy is in the crapper, and he has said repeatedly that he just doesn't know about such things. That issue, and his wild commitment to a war that most Americans oppose, make his victory in November quite improbable, to say the least.

And there you have the reason why the GOP must, once again, deploy its giant criminal machine: to cut the Democrats' vast popular advantage. And it is happening right now, as you sit reading this, as each day brings in new reports of voters purged, machines "malfunctioning," ballots slyly misdesigned, and other measures meant to benefit McBush's party. (The fraud is not occurring "on both sides.") Such evidence is far more solid than the nervous speculation that Americans might vote on racial grounds--or the fantasy that Sarah Palin's co-religionists could really win it for McCain.

The theft of this next race is only possible because the Democratic Party and the media, and principled Republicans, have shut their eyes to this regime's crusade against American democracy. And now the only way to stop it--or, if it does happen yet again, resist it-- is to face it at long last, and talk about it openly. It's therefore not enough to raise more money for the Democrats, and not enough to get more voters registered, and get them to the polls; and not enough to spread the word about McCain and Palin, or to try to get the media to do a decent job; and not enough to fight the smears and lies about Obama, and to demand that he and/or the Democrats get tougher.

..............

PLEASE READ & SHARE - THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE OF ALL!!!

1. Well, maybe so, but here is the real way they will do it
Not enough voting machines = long lines = people not able to stay to vote because they have to pick up kids, go back to work, etc = stealing votes when people have to leave the line...THIS WILL HAPPEN WORSE THAN IN 2004 (and that was SO bad as it was)

Mailing out false or flawed absentee ballot requests = one of them I have in my hand RIGHT NOW and have faxed to the Ohio SOS = stealing votes as they are either disallowed or RTS due to lack of postage, (even if the largest line on the form says it is postage paid to send it in, it is not)...HAPPENING NOW

Purging voters rolls - stealing votes...HAPPENING NOW

Mailing out "proof of residency" forms that look nothing like an official form, and not allowing someone to vote because they did not return the form = stealing votes ...THIS WILL HAPPEN

Uninformed poll workers that require ID or proof of residency beyond existing law = stealing votes....THIS WILL HAPPEN

Corrupt election officials at the county level doing all manner of things to prevent people from casting their ballot = stealing votes....THIS WILL HAPPEN

Machines that do not have verified voting, with backup paper to hand count if necessary - stealing votes...THIS WILL HAPPEN

4. This year,
in Ohio, we have early voting from Sept. 30 on. We also have a window of six days, from 9/30 to 10/6, where people can register and vote on the same day. Of course, the repukes are suing to stop this.

What I want to see all around Ohio are huge billboards with this information. With enough people voting early, long lines and broken machines on Nov. 4 will not happen/make an impact.

Now who do I contact about erecting billboards? Oh, and only in the urban areas. Fuck those backwaters on the county roads. Yes, I live in Ohio.

Last week my husband called me from the backwaters of Ohio and said he was coming home a day early from his business trip. He said he had to get out because he couldn't stand being around the politically ignorant!

I still think they underestimated the turn out in the inner cities and never thought that many kids would vote from College instead of via absentee...

2. sarah pallin was put on the ballot to cover the theft. a wild card. smoke and
mirrors. just like all the gay marriage referendum in '04. (and here in illinois, a moderate republican who stood a chance was forced off the ballot so that alan keyes could run. they couldn't get their referendum on the ballot here.) not to bring out the base, they were gonna come out, and there were not enough of them, anyway. but they needed something to spin. a cover story. that is exactly what she is. a cover story.

5. Obama Is Taking Positive Steps:
The court is more likely to rule narrowly than to recognize those claims in its decision. But by intervening directly in a local case, the Obama campaign is signaling that a national campaign to disenfranchise voters will receive a national response. And by reframing a technical debate over local election laws as a broader discussion of fundamental rights, the Obama campaign has already won. The GOP has long employed the chimerical notion of "voter fraud," and preyed upon unpopular groups like students, non-Anglophone Americans and ex-felons. But they made a strategic miscalculation by going after homeowners suffering foreclosures. And by linking this effort at disenfranchisement to the others, the Obama campaign is going to make them pay.

doesn't happen again. I wrote a post last week explaining that the polls are not truthful or accurate. I slammed the media for dishing us this junk. There is no way McCain is close in any state other than solidly red states.

Obama should win this handily and if he doesn't then this election was stolen like the last two. People have to be smarter about this.

Obama is filling arenas. McCain is not. Obama is increasing donor support. McCain is losing support. Democratic registration is up 11 mil. GOP registration is down.

HOW can the candidates be tied anywhere in swing states? This is a deluxe fabrication formed by the media and the GOP party.

28. Wow. Just wow -- some major psychological issues here.
"Go kill yourself?" Wonderful -- what's that, about 2nd grade level comeback? And you pride yourself as the symbol of the Democratic Party? In the spoon-fed words of Sarah Palin: thanks, but no thanks.

And tell me, why *must* I be a freeper because I suggest that the idea of the GOP stealing the election is fanatical? I want Obama to win in a sweep. You, on the other hand, are apparently waiting for the rapture of a hopeless, stolen election, about which you are powerless to do anything. How is that supporting the candidate??

11. Republicans like to try the same things over and over and over again
They are stuck in a loop and until it doesn't work anymore they will continue to try it. Remember they don't like what's inevitable... Change. I don't think they will be successful this time but this kind of information is important for all people to know. They can only steal... They don't elected playing by the rules. This neo-con party is about subverting laws, fairness, ethics. It's a game to them.

Well done!!! Interestingly enough, Miller points out how we will be hoodwinked into believing that there will an unpredictable 'surge' from the evangelicals which will put Senator mCain over the top. That is an old con, used to good effect during the last Presidential election. Careful research of the numbers by Miller show that this evangelical surge DID NOT TAKE PLACE, we were hoodwinked, (now there's a shock), -lied to by the repukes!

That supposed evangelical surge late in bush's campaigns was a myth according to Miller's research, yet many folks today believe the lie/meme of that surge instead! This is proof of the effectiveness of this lie/meme! Sarah Palin was selected to convince us that another such surge is taking place right now-that there is a new surge of evangelicals rallying around mCcain because of Sarah Palin! Hopefully all the brouhaha over her in the news recently will help sink that surge myth before any real damage can be done from it.
