Research 2000 Nat'l Poll-Obama-49% McInsane 42%
IMHO, if the election were held today Obama would carry near 400 Electoral College Votes...Too bad it isn't...

We need to continue to work hard and be vigilant...

5. Those favorable/unfavorable numbers
look really good for Obama, Biden's have improved as well, at least from other polls I've seen.

2. I Should Preface My Remark
IMHO, if that poll is correct and the election were held today Obama would carry near 400 Electoral College Votes...

I have seen models and anything over a five percent pop vote lead results in a Electoral College "landslide"...

4. That would be an Electoral College "miracle".
The solid south is going for McCain; we can figure on that safely.

It ain't gonna be 400, but it'll be a win. All we need is 270.

7. Let's Just Say The Results Were Thus:
Obama 50% McInsane 44% Barr 2.5% Nad(i)r 1.5% McKinney 1% Scattered 1% he would win near 400 Electoral College Votes and FL and VA would likely go blue...Of course, my prediction falls totally apart if Obama can't beat McInsane by at least five or six percent in the popular vote...

9. Ignore the polls.
When they're up, people get complacent. When they're down, people get despondent.

Work like you're 15 down even if you're 15 up.
