What a DOWNER!
Granted, I don't always see eye-to-eye with him but I usually enjoy his daily "progressive point of view" podcast. In this one, he seems to be suggesting that Obama is doing worse than what the polls seem to suggest. While I realize that polls are fickle and will definitely vacillate over the next few weeks as the debates get underway and the candidates respond to daily events (but hopefully widen in Obama's favor towards the end of October), the force definitely seems to be with Obama at the moment after McSame's post-convention/Palin "bounce". What do you think about this? It seems like when Obama is winning there are no shortage of persons who act as though he is losing. Frankly, I don't really know what McSame's "road to victory" is right now absent some kind of catastrophic gaffe or scandal involving Obama or Biden or if he and/or Palin somehow manage to blow Obama and Biden completely out of the waters in the debates (which is certainly NOT going to happen!).

1. I agree with you.
He is being far too gloomy. Maybe he's a week behind? Because last week I could have bought that. It just feels different after more time with Palin in the spotlight. The bloom is off the rose, and people are seeing behind the curtain on her.

2. Exactly
Had it been a week ago, this podcast would've sent me into a deeper tailspin than I already was in although I think that Obama/Biden had already started their more aggressive approach to McSame/Palin, which is only just now starting to cause some definitive movement in the polling. Of course, McSame/Palin haven't exactly been doing themselves any favors either as of late-and it just keeps getting worse.
