Why does McCain bother advertising during 'Countdown'?

I've seen a couple Vets for Freedom ads tonight...they're annoying. The surge! The surge! The surge!

The ads can appear anywhere in the time frame selected 4hour, 6hour, 18hour. It cheaper to buy advertising this way. The only down side is that you have no control of which show your ad falls in.

But hey, never know - maybe some undecides, indies or pubs that are curious to left-wing tv over the madness on that other station.

Honestly, I'd rather see my candidate's handsome face vs. McUgly ANY day.
