Edited on Wed Sep-17-08 02:08 PM by grantcart
Obama giving a very strong and memorable address in Elko Nevada today:

Obama today in Elk Nevada ridiculig McCain's responses to the Wall Street Meltdown pointed out that the 7 most important lobbyists in Washington are running his campaign.

Now John McCain wants a commission - that is Washington speak for "I'll get back to you later".

"Now John McCain is going to take on Washington by the end of the week he and Phil Graham will be talking about leading all of those lobbyists on a charge against the Treasury Department."

"What is happening now is the final verdict of the Bush Administration's economic policy".

"We have a different measure of the fundamentals on the economy - is it measuring up to the fundamentals of what it takes to live up to the American Dream".

"To jump start job creation I have proposed a $ 50 billion public works job that will start to rebuild our infrastructure and create good high paying jobs here".

"A home score system that will help consumers know if they can afford the payments on the house before they buy it and stop predator loans by the mortgage industry"

"John McCain wants to talk about change but he doesn't have the policies to back it up, that's not change that's just slogans".

"I will eliminate capital gains on small businesses and Elko I will cut taxes cut taxes on 95% of the American People".
