Take a look at this blog:

A terrific post there entitled "multiply your vote".

1. Anybody out there?
Did you read the post?

Oh, and when you are there please read the comments from "motherbitch". She claims that Dems are vile, rotten and disgusting and even suckier than repubs. She needs some good responses.

2. Great advice:
"I am going to volunteer as a driver to take Democrats to the polls on November 4th. If I can provide transportation for one person that wouldn’t have been able to vote, I have multiplied my vote."

Wonder if I could help to do this in my area? I have a minivan! (Disclaimer, we recently inherited it from a relative, we did not go out and purchase a minivan. Have no children, that would have been ridiculous.)

But I could take 6 people to vote! :bounce:

3. Get in touch with the
committee people for your ward/precinct, they may need a poll watcher, someone who keeps track of which Dems in that precinct haven't come in to vote. Before the polls close they try to contact these registered voters, offer to pick them up. Or, you can be available to just help the poll watcher with the driving part.

If you're not sure who your committee people are, google your township or County name with the word Democrats and there should be a website with listings and phone numbers.

7. Good advice. BUT, it's good to point out...
If you get a Republican to vote for Obama, you have not only doubled your vote, you've TRIPLED it.
