**50 state strategy key to Obama and Democratic win**
When Dr. Dean developed the 50 state strategy, I know many had doubts about it. But in order to establish a new Democratic down ticket grouping the 50 state strategy is truly the only way we will win that grouping and change the course of the country.

To focus only on our base of large cities, leaves us open to winning the popular vote and losing the general election as in 2000 with Gore v Bush

When we have a winner take all policy, ( which is what the current electoral college is, sans two states who split the electoral college results)..those little rural areas become increasingly important.

We are going to take the big cities and population areas, and Obama implementing that Dean strategy of going on the ground to those rural areas will be the reason we will win.

I know they are working in area that went Bush 60%, but think about this, if we can turn out that 40% in those areas and add them to the population centers of the bigger cities and towns, we are going to WIN this election.

Those little reliably republican rural areas, by not just writing them off, but going after every single vote we can get from them, not only are we going to WIN the presidential race, we are going to win the down tickets.

And with that we will make the changes that are needed!
