PBS Newshour: Robert Reich vs Douglas Holtz-Eakin

Here is the link to the video from tonight's Newshour with Jim Lehrer. It starts off with a 5 minute or so report on the economy and all that's been going on then it moves into Reich and Holtz-Eakin, who represent Obama and McCain, respectively. Very good stuff, well worth watching. I'll also wait and see if it comes up on youtube as well. -WB

1. Yes - always liked Reich. But it was a bit of the classic pissing contest.

Reich did make an excellent point - that McSame's idea of change, as a leader in the senate for the last 8 years, has been to implement Bush/Cheney policies as quickly as possible. Policies that have led us to the point where we are today. Why did he not act then, as senator Obama did, against the unfair and dishonest mortgage lending being practiced by financial institutions?

Why should we expect a zebra to change it's stripes?
