In Sarah Palin's small town America,
helicopter riding hunters get paid $150 for a foreleg from each dead wolf,

friends of politicians get appointed to cushy jobs while enemies get fired,

and tiny towns get millions of dollars from the Federal government to pay for bridges.

But a woman who is raped has to pay $1500 to cover the costs of her own rape exam.

What a cruel world she's holding up to the light.

4. Palin just said that one of the reasons that she fired Monegan is because
he was trying to get federal funds for a program that she didn't want -- a program that would fight rapists and child molesters.

And the McCain campaign is criticizing Obama for voting for a bill that would teach kindergartners how to protect themselves against molesters.

I can't believe Palin and McCain are really pro-molester, but their actions certainly have that effect.

And you apparently are ignorant of the fact that Palin's appointed crony in Wasilla pushed through a bill requiring victims of rape to personally pay for the costs of their rape exam -- a local law that the state of Alaska has now overruled.

As far as those bridges are concerned, I get that YOU want them. But the rest of America needs roads and bridges, too -- and Alaska has been getting far more than its share of earmarks.

I'm glad you love your governor, however -- and I hope you get to keep her in Alaska where she can only do limited damage.

5. Wow! That's a new one.
I had heard that the justification for killing wolves from helicopters was because they were decimating the moose population.

But, according to you, it's really the population of CHILDREN who are being decimated!

Well, don't worry.

With the high incidence of rape and incest in your neck of the woods, I don't think y'all will lack for any children.

And yes, this is :sarcasm: , just in case your sarcasm detector is on the fritz.

11. Teh stupid is strong in this one
Meth is a horrible drug. Please consider counseling before all your brain cells rot.

And the next time wolves eat one of your villages' children, IT WILL BE THE VERY FIRST TIME IT EVER HAPPENED.

Me thinks you're not really an Alaskan. Granted, there are a lot of morons up here, but your post stinks of serious trolling. I would welcome a boat load of people from DU if they could replace people that voted for Bush twice and are naive or sick enough to vote for him a third time. Yes, a third time, as a vote for Palin is a vote for Bush. If you were really an Alaskan, you'd know that "village" children and every other Alaskan have more to fear from angry mother moose protecting their calves than the elusive, non-human-threatening wolves. Wolves aren't be hunted to protect humans, and if you were actually an Alaskan, you'd realize that. Alaska voted twice to ban arial hunting, and the state overturned it. Palin even approved $400,000 in pro-arial hunting propaganda to influence Alaskans to approve of the practice.

She also wants to make it harder for groups to sue over arial hunting.

14. We had errands galore to run today but locked the place up
and hunkered down inside instead, too fearful that we'd be attacked by wolves if we ventured out of the house.

They're everywhere, you know.
